SURGE is Back!

If you were a child or teenager during the mid-90s, and you remember things like Dunk-a-roos and Orbitz, then you should remember the highly caffeinated soft drink, SURGE. SURGE was a product of Coca-Cola and was meant to be a Mountain Dew killer. SURGE only lasted a few years and slowly fizzled out of existence. In 2011, the SURGE Movement was created on Facebook. They created the page to petition to Coca-Cola that there was still a demand for the energy drink.  This week has brought amazing news that SURGE is back and sold exclusively through Amazon! Amazon sold out it’s first day, but you can sign up to be notified when it is back in stock, $14 for a dozen 16-ounce cans. Be sure to check out the comments/reviews on the Amazon page, they're priceless!

Here is the original commercial from 1997:

I am a Mountain Dew drinker through and through, but I still want to get my hands on some SURGE, to “Feed the Rush!”

Thank you internet for bringing back a piece of the 90s!
