Marvel's Last Leg of Phase 2 and Beyond

With Phase 2 of Marvel's movie line drawing to a close next year with Avengers: Age of Ultron there is only that and Guardians of the Galaxy to tie up the bow. Phase 3 begins  two months after Avengers with Ant Man kicking it off. Earlier this month Marvel Studios established what their movie schedule would look like through May 2019. The line up looks like this:

  • Guardians of the Galaxy: August 1st, 2014
  • Avengers: Age of Ultron: May 1st, 2015
  • Ant-Man: July 17, 2015
  • Captain America 3: May 6th, 2016
  • Untitled Film: July 8th, 2016
  • Untitled Film: May 5th, 2017
  • Untitled Film: July 28th, 2017
  • Untitled Film: November 3rd, 2017
  • Untitled Film: July 6th, 2018
  • Untitled Film: November 2nd, 2018
  • Untitled Film: May 3rd, 2019
We can only assume what the Untitled movies will be but it is a good bet we will get more sequels (probably Thor 3 or Guardians 2), some originals (possibly Dr. Strange, Black Panther, or Hulk), and then another Avengers flick. There were rumors going around of a Planet Hulk movie possibly coming out of the wake of Guardians of the Galaxy. Those rumors have been put down by Marvel but hopefully because the rumors hit too close to home and they don't want to give it away before SDCC. Other rumors also surfaced throwing around the character Ms. Marvel along with the actress Katie Sackhoff's name as well.

Despite the rumors the future of the Marvel line up looks very promising. The upcoming Comic-Con will be epic and in its wake we will know at least a little more about how they plan to wow us in our movie seats in the near future.  As of right now it's only 9 days until our next taste of Marvel action. Enjoy the extended look trailer that I will just leave right here.
